SARATOGA 5K Fun Run and Walk

Attention all Saratoga families and friends!
The Saratoga Education Foundation is excited to announce our second annual 5K Fun Run and Walk. Last year, we had an amazing turnout, with over 900 participants coming out to support SEF and SUSD schools. This year, we’re planning an even bigger event so lace up your sneakers on Sunday, November 5th and join us for a morning of fitness and fun, all while supporting a great cause!
Race your friends and family through neighborhood streets then stay for post-race activities, including food trucks, awards, raffles, games, and a special Kids Dash for children 5 and under. All proceeds from the event benefit specialized educational programs in Saratoga Union School District like elementary makerspace and science labs, general music, physical education and middle school STEM class.
Race day is Daylight Savings Time, so spend the extra hour with us having fun, being active and building community! Please note, no dogs are allowed on the campus or race course.
Registration is now open, so don't wait to sign up.Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-timer, the 5K Fun Run and Walk is a great way to be active, support SUSD students, and spend time with your community. We can't wait to see you there!

Redwood Middle School
13925 Fruitvale Ave
Saratoga, CA 95070
5K Course:
Starting and ending at Redwood Middle School, walk/run through neighborhood streets on Allendale and Harleigh. Course will be marked with cones and volunteers. You are welcome to walk or run, completely your choice!
Course Map
Kids Dash - Ages 5 and under - FREE
Fun 1 lap (0.25mi) walk/run in Redwood field for our little kids. This will be an untimed race.
Each participant will receive a goodie bag with post race refreshments and souvenirs. Does not include a T-shirt.
5K Event Fees:
Registration fees by October 12th:
Early Bird special - Youth - ages 18 & Under $20.
Early Bird special - Adult - ages 19 & Over $35
Fees October 13th and thereafter:
Youth - $30.
Adult - $45.
Fees include custom t-shirts, post race refreshments. T-Shirt sizes are not guaranteed, for orders placed after September 30th. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Sponsor a Teacher:
Would you like to sponsor our wonderful teachers? It would be a great way to show your appreciation and encourage staff and faculty to attend our weekend community event. Select "Sponsor A Teacher" during registration.
Raffles:
1 ticket for $4

Buy more tickets to increase your chances to win one of our fabulous prizes! Raffle Draw will be during the Post-Race Festival.
Unlimited Carnival Game Wristbands:
Wristbands for unlimited carnival games are $10 for each child. Stay after the the race and play a variety of games at the post-race activities.
Awards:
Top three winners, in the following age groups, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17 and 18 & Over.
Race Day Timeline (estimated times):
7:00AM - 8:00AM: Packet pickup (Blacktop near Allendale START line)
8:20AM: Line up for the race (START line)
8:30AM: Race start (Marked route on Allendale Ave, Harleigh Dr, finish on Redwood Track)
9:00AM-12:00PM: Post-Race Festival (Redwood Campus)
- 9:45AM: Kids Dash for Ages 5 and under (Redwood Track)
